Stage 2

Professional foundation

Essential horse care, stable management, lungeing and riding competence. The first step toward a professional equestrian career.

Stage 3

Advanced development + coaching

Advanced riding and cross-country, plus Stage 2 teaching certification. Yard management and business fundamentals for independent practice.

Stage 4

Mastery and leadership

Refined classical riding, advanced coaching methodology and complete business management. The path to senior roles, ownership and examiner tracks.

Founder of Alterreno and one of the world's foremost voices in horse–human communication, Angelika blends over twenty years of Italian and German horsemanship, classical dressage, liberty work, natural horsemanship, into a preparation that is thorough, systematic and uncompromising.

Every candidate receives comprehensive training ensuring genuine competence by Stage 4 mastery. Our status as a BHS international training centre reflects a commitment to the highest global standards.

The place

Where you train, and live, the equestrian life

Intensive residential programmes on thirty hectares of curated land in the Tuscan hills. Students care for, train and live alongside their horses, guided every day by accredited professionals.
