The Alterreno Children Tuscany Camp is a residential experience for children, offering full immersion in equestrian life. Participants live on site in Tuscany, caring for and working with horses each day. The programme blends riding, theory and reflection, following the steady rhythm of the season to support measured personal development.

With accommodation included in Alterreno’s Tuscan countryside setting participants live fully within the equestrian rhythm for the duration of the camp. Waking with the horses, caring for them before riding, learning their needs and rhythms and taking responsibility for their wellbeing creates a kind of relationship that recreational riding does not allow. The daily schedule begins early with barn chores, continues through morning riding sessions, includes theoretical learning and independent practice then concludes with evening care routines. This level of immersion shows horses as living beings who require relationship not objects of entertainment providing services.
