You have booked the hotel offsite, the escape room, the away-day workshop. This is different: an offsite that shows your team how it actually works together, honestly, and gives you a shared reference you can return to when the pressure is real.

Why most offsites are forgotten by Monday.

A change of scenery, a few laughs, some photos, and by the following week nothing has really changed. The offsite was designed to be enjoyed, not to reveal how your team truly operates or to leave anything behind.

What if the day couldn’t be gamed?

A horse doesn’t respond to job titles, confidence, or the right words. It responds only to what is real, so the dynamics you actually have, good and difficult, come to the surface where you can work with them.

That is what this offsite is for.

An Offsite Your Team Will Carry

A shared reference you’ll point back to at work.
A day that returns to mind long after the offsite ends.

Horse Power Team™ is not something you present.
It is something your team lives, together.

And long after the offsite ends,
its lessons stay in how you work.

What is Horse Power Team™?

Horse Power Team™ is a guided day of ground work with horses in a quiet Tuscan setting, led by experienced facilitators, and it can extend into a multi-day offsite.

What makes it work as an offsite is its honesty.

It asks your people to coordinate, communicate and stay present with a horse that reflects exactly what they do, no titles, no scripts, no way to fake it. The real dynamics simply appear, and the team can see them clearly.

It suits any team, at any stage, from a new group finding its feet to a senior team under real pressure. No horse experience is required. Everyone arrives exactly as they are, and that is the point.

There is no “right” outcome and no one is put on the spot. That is what makes it safe and useful: the horses reveal what is real, and we help your team make sense of it, together.

It does not lecture your team, it shows them how they work, and gives them something to keep.

What This Offsite Gives Your Team

Connection that’s real, not staged.
A team that shows up present.
A shared reference you’ll carry back to work.

What actually happens?

What Your Team Experiences

It meets your team exactly where it is: for some it turns the annual get-together into real connection instead of a room change. For others it opens people up before a strategy day. For many it becomes a shared language, a moment everyone was in the setting for, that they can point back to at work.

There is nothing to perform and nothing to win.
Only real dynamics, made visible, and worked with.

This is what makes it both safe and useful:
an offsite that meets your team where it is, and stays with it long after it ends.

The Offsite That Actually Sticks

Some offsites deliver a change of scenery.
This one gives your people an honest mirror of how they operate.
Horse Power Team™ meets your team where it is, without forcing anything.

Horse Power Team™ is designed for the offsites that should mean more than a change of address, and choosing to give your team a day with real substance is already a step forward.

Your annual offsite

The one offsite a year when the whole team is finally in the same place. You want it to count for more than a hotel room and a packed agenda. A day with the horses gives everyone a shared, memorable reference point they carry back into the work.

A strategy or kickoff day

You are setting direction for the year, or launching something new, and you want the team aligned and present before the planning starts. A morning on the ground with the horses opens people up, so the strategy conversation that follows is honest and unguarded.

A reward the team earns

The quarter landed, the project shipped, the year was hard-won. You want to give something better than a voucher. A full day in the Tuscan hills, together, is a reward with substance, and it can extend into a multi-day stay when you want more.

“For over twenty years, I have watched horses show people the truth about how they connect. Not through words. Not through advice. Through presence. Through mirror. Through honesty a team cannot argue with.”

“A team can’t perform for a horse. It reflects exactly how you communicate, whether you trust each other, and how you hold up under pressure. If you are here, considering this for your team, trust that instinct. I look forward to meeting you in the arena.”

Where Horse Power Team™ Is Born

The Approach

Horse Power Team™ was born at Alterreno from observing how horses respond to human presence when there is nothing to perform and nothing to prove. These encounters are not about riding, but about connection, trust and communication between people.

Within a safe and guided setting, horses reflect what is real, allowing clarity to emerge naturally. There are no expected outcomes and no pressure to perform.
This is why Horse Power Team™ makes an offsite that workshops cannot: it adapts to your group and meets it exactly where it is.

Head of People, tech scale-up

An annual offsite for a team of 15 that had never all been in one room.

After two years of remote-first hiring, the yearly offsite was the only time the whole team gathered in person. The usual formula, a hotel and a full agenda, left people tired and no closer. They wanted the day to actually connect them.

With the horses there was nowhere to hide behind a role. Who stepped forward, who hung back, who waited to be told, it surfaced within minutes, and for once the whole team shared the same reference point instead of a slide deck.

We only get everyone together once a year.
The horse gave us something real to do together, not another agenda.
People connected in a way the hotel offsites never managed.
Months later, we still talk about that morning.

COO, family business

A strategy day for a long-serving team, opening the year ahead.

The leadership team needed to set direction for a demanding year, but the usual planning days started guarded and stayed that way. They wanted people present and honest before the whiteboard came out.

The morning with the horses asked for presence, not output. Standing with an animal that responds to calm rather than urgency, the team softened, listened, and arrived at the strategy conversation genuinely open.

Our planning days always started defensive.
The horse didn’t reward posturing, it rewarded attention.
By lunch the whole team was present and honest.
The strategy session afterwards was the best we’ve had.

Managing Director, professional services firm

A kickoff offsite for two newly merged departments.

A restructure had joined two groups with different habits and a fair amount of quiet suspicion, and the kickoff offsite was meant to make them one team. On paper they were. In practice they were two, being careful.

Working the same horse in turn, they had to agree, hand over, and trust each other in real time. The awkwardness had nowhere to sit, and a common way of working began to form before the day was out.

We were one team on the org chart and two in the room.
The horse forced us to actually rely on people we barely knew.
By the afternoon the two sides had stopped keeping score.
It gave the kickoff a shared starting point we didn’t have before.

Founder, early-stage startup

A reward offsite after a make-or-break launch.

Six people had carried enormous pressure through a launch that finally landed. The founder wanted to mark it with something better than dinner and a voucher, a day that felt like a real reward and gave the team a proper reset.

Away from screens and deadlines, the horses reflected exactly how the team worked together when there was nothing to prove. They laughed, they slowed down, and they left with a shared memory that outlasted the celebration itself.

I wanted to reward them with more than a night out.
The horses gave us a day none of us will forget.
We reset together instead of just switching off.
It was the best thank-you I could have given the team.

HR Business Partner, manufacturing group

A multi-day leadership retreat combined with a Tuscan stay.

The senior team booked two days in Tuscany, a day with the horses and a day of planning, staying nearby in between. They wanted the offsite to feel like a genuine step out of the meeting room, not a room change.

The horses gave immediate, unbiased feedback on presence and clarity. Each leader saw their own default, the controller, the avoider, the over-explainer, and with the evening and a Tuscan table to talk it over, the insight had time to settle.

We wanted a real retreat, not a meeting room with a view.
The horse read our intent, not our job titles.
Extending it over two days let everything actually land.
We came away calmer and far more honest with each other.
It’s become the offsite everyone measures the next one against.

F.A.Q.: Everything you may want to know

How many people can take part?

Horse Power Team™ works well for groups from 4 to 20. The offsite is designed around your numbers and your goals, so tell us the size of your team when you request a quote and we will shape it accordingly.

Can the offsite run over more than one day?

Yes. The core experience is a full day, and many teams extend it into a multi-day offsite, pairing the day with the horses with a strategy or planning day and a stay in the Tuscan hills. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build it around you.

Is there accommodation nearby?

There is. The centre sits in the countryside near Peccioli (Pisa), with characterful places to stay a short drive away. We are happy to point you to trusted options so your team can turn the day into a proper Tuscan retreat.

Is it indoors or outdoors, and what about the weather?

We use both covered areas and open spaces, and we adapt the day to the conditions. Only extreme weather requires rescheduling, and we agree that with you in advance.

Is it physical, and is there any riding?

There is no riding at all. Everything happens on the ground, on foot, at a calm pace. It is not a fitness challenge, it is about communication, trust and presence, so no equestrian experience is needed.

How does the assessment work?

Before the day we hold a short assessment call, included in the €180 assessment fee, to understand your team, your context and what you want the offsite to achieve. This is what lets us tailor the day rather than run a generic format.

How does invoicing and VAT work?

The price is €1.980 per day, with VAT and the assessment included. We invoice your company directly and provide everything your finance team needs. For multi-day offsites we quote the full plan up front.

Can the day run in English or Italian?

Both. Facilitation is available in English and Italian, so mixed or international teams are entirely at home here.

How far in advance should we book?

We keep corporate availability intentionally limited, so earlier is better, especially for specific dates and multi-day offsites. Request a quote and we will confirm what is currently open.

Ready when you are? Request a quote, or write to us and we’ll help you decide.

After the offsite

The debrief closes the loop, so your team leaves with a shared reference and practical takeaways, not just a good memory. Some teams return later for another day, others simply carry what surfaced into how they work. Both are equally right. What changes between your people is yours to keep.

One honest offsite could change how your team works.

You don’t need the perfect brief. You just have to be willing to take your team into something real.

Start with a quote and an assessment call. No obligation.
