The disconnection isn’t a verdict.
It’s a signal you’ve already noticed.
This is a different way to answer it.

You have tried the offsites. You have tried the workshops. This is different: a day that lets the team see its real dynamics and rebuild trust, without anyone being blamed.

The truth about why the offsites and workshops didn’t stick.

You have run the away-days. You have brought in the facilitators, the frameworks, the icebreakers. Sometimes the mood lifts for a week, and then the old patterns quietly return.

What if the problem isn’t more talking?

What if the team could simply see how it really works together, in real time, without slides or blame, until trust and communication start to come back on their own.

That is what this day is for.

A Day Your Team Will Carry Back To Work

A way of working together you’ll feel again in the room.
A shared reference that stays with the team long after the day ends.

Horse Power Team™ is not something you explain in a slide.
It is something the team lives, together.

And long after the day ends,
its lessons keep showing up at work.

What is Horse Power Team™?

Horse Power Team™ is a shared day of ground work alongside horses in a quiet Tuscan setting, guided by experienced facilitators.

What makes it work for a struggling team is its honesty.

The horse is an honest mirror. It responds to how the team really communicates, who leads, who withdraws, where trust is missing, and it does so without judgement and without blaming anyone. The dynamics simply become visible, safely.

It suits any team, at any stage. No horse experience is required, and there is no riding. Everyone takes part on the ground, exactly as they are, and that is enough.

There are no expectations, no scoring, and no pressure. That is what makes it a safe reset, even when communication has broken down and trust has worn thin.

It does not impose a fix, it gives the team space to reconnect.

What This Day Gives Your Team

Trust that had quietly eroded.
Communication beyond job titles.
A shared reset the whole team can build on.

What actually happens?

What Your Team Experiences

It meets the team exactly where it is: for some it breaks a silence that had settled in. For others it dissolves the walls between functions. For many it is simply a day of real presence and honest communication, side by side, away from the desks and the deadlines.

There is nothing to prove and nobody to blame.
Only space. Only honesty. Only the team, together.

This is what makes it both safe and effective:
a day that meets the team where it is, and stays with it long after everyone is back at work.

When The Team Doesn’t Quite Click Anymore

Some days solve a single problem.
Others give a team trust, communication and a fresh start.
Horse Power Team™ meets the team where it is, without forcing anything.

Horse Power Team™ is designed for the moments when a team needs honesty and reconnection more than another workshop, and choosing to try is already a step back toward each other.

When the team has gone silent

Meetings are polite and short, cameras stay off, and nobody says what they really think. The work still gets done, but the energy and the ideas have quietly drained away.

When silos have hardened

People protect their own patch, information stops flowing, and small tensions have set into fixed camps. Everyone is working hard, just not with each other.

When trust broke after a hard period

A restructure, a departure, months of remote distance, or one difficult conflict has left a mark. People are careful with each other now, and the old ease has not come back on its own.

“For over twenty years, I have watched horses help people set down the weight they carry. Not through words. Not through advice. Through presence. Through mirror. Through permission to be seen.”

“With a team, the horse shows the real dynamics without blaming anyone. It reveals how a group truly communicates, and in that honesty, trust has room to come back. If you are here for your team, trust that instinct. Something in you already knows it matters.”

Where Horse Power Team™ Is Born

The Approach

Horse Power Team™ was born at Alterreno from observing how horses respond to human presence when there is nothing to perform and nothing to prove. These encounters are not about riding, but about connection, within a team and between its people.

Within a safe and guided setting, horses reflect what is real, allowing clarity to emerge naturally. There are no expected outcomes and no pressure to change.
This is why it reaches teams that workshops cannot: it adapts to your group and meets it exactly where it is.

Head of People, SaaS company

A product team that stopped talking after 18 months remote.

After more than a year of remote work, the team delivered on paper but had gone quiet. Stand-ups were transactional, disagreements were avoided, and nobody quite trusted the room anymore.

On the ground with the horses there was nothing to hide behind and nothing to rehearse. The animals simply reflected who was leading, who was holding back, and where the group pulled apart, without any blame attached.

Our team wasn’t in conflict. It had just gone silent.
The horse only responded when we moved as one, and that showed us everything.
People said things that afternoon they’d held in for months.
We left with a way of talking to each other again.

Team Lead, logistics

Two functions that had hardened into rival camps.

Operations and planning had drifted into silos, each convinced the other was the problem. The tension was low-grade but constant, and it was slowing everything down.

The horses cannot be spun or persuaded. When the group tried to control the exercise from separate corners, nothing moved. When they aligned, it did. The lesson landed without anyone having to be told.

Every meeting had become us versus them.
Out there, the only way anything worked was together.
You could see the moment the two sides actually looked at each other.
We came back one team instead of two.

HR Manager, retail

Rebuilding trust after a restructure and a round of exits.

A restructure had left the remaining team wary and guarded. Trust had taken a hit, and people were keeping their heads down rather than committing to each other again.

The day asked nothing about the past, only honesty in the moment. In that safe, wordless space the group practised depending on one another again, and the guardedness slowly softened.

After the changes, everyone had gone quiet and careful.
The horse didn’t care about titles, only whether we were being real.
For one day people stopped protecting themselves and worked together.
It was the first genuinely open day we’d had in a long time.

Operations Director, manufacturing

A merged team that never quite clicked.

Two groups had been brought together on paper, but they had never really become one team. The meetings were cordial, the collaboration was shallow, and the seams still showed.

Working with the same horse, the group had to notice each other, yield, and take turns leading. Away from job titles and org charts, the artificial divide simply lost its grip.

We’d been ‘one team’ for a year, and everyone knew we weren’t.
The horse only settled when we stopped competing for control.
By the afternoon the old dividing lines had faded.
We finally started acting like a single group.

People & Culture Lead, agency

Quiet disengagement and a creative team running on empty.

The work was still shipping, but the spark had gone. People were doing the minimum, holding back ideas, and quietly checking out. Nothing was wrong enough to name, which made it harder to fix.

Away from the desks, with a horse that responded only to real, present attention, the group remembered what it felt like to be fully in the room together. The energy that came back surprised even the sceptics.

Nobody was leaving, but nobody was really there either.
The horse woke everyone up in a way another workshop never could.
People who’d gone flat were laughing and leaning in by lunch.
We brought that energy back to the studio with us.

Founder, scale-up

A leadership team that had stopped being honest with each other.

As the company grew, the leadership team had learned to be diplomatic to the point of dishonesty. Real disagreements went unspoken, and decisions kept getting quietly re-litigated afterwards.

The horses have no patience for performance. Standing together in that honesty, the polished surfaces dropped and the team said the things they had been avoiding, calmly, and for the first time in months.

We were all being so careful that nothing true was getting said.
The horse only responded when we dropped the act.
We had the honest conversation we’d been circling for a year.
We left aligned, and a lot lighter.

F.A.Q.: Everything you may want to know

Will it feel forced or cringey for the team?

No. There is no acting, no trust-fall, and nobody is put on the spot. The horses simply respond to what is real, so the day feels honest rather than staged. Even sceptical teams tend to relax quickly once they see it is not a performance.

Is it physical? Does anyone ride?

There is no riding at all. Everything happens on the ground, and it is gentle and accessible. No horse experience is needed from anyone, and people take part at a level that is comfortable for them.

How big can the group be?

The day works for groups from 4 to 20 people. For larger departments we can discuss splitting into sessions. Tell us your numbers in the quote request and we will shape it accordingly.

How does the assessment work?

The €180 assessment is a short, private call before the day. It helps us understand what the team is going through so we can tailor the experience to your specific situation rather than run something generic.

How does invoicing and VAT work?

The price is €1.980 per day, which is €1.800 per day plus the €180 assessment, with VAT included. You receive a proper company invoice. We will confirm the details in the tailored proposal.

Can it run in English?

Yes. Sessions are run in both English and Italian, so mixed and international teams are entirely at home. Just let us know your team’s preference.

How far in advance should we book?

We keep corporate days deliberately limited, so a little lead time helps. Once you request a quote we will share current availability and hold a date that works for you.

What if some of the team are sceptical?

That is completely normal, and it is welcome. There is nothing to believe in advance. The horses do the convincing, and the people who arrive most doubtful are often the ones who take the most away.

Ready to see what this could do for your team?

Request a tailored quote and we’ll reply within two working days with a proposal shaped around your team, no obligation.

Prefer to talk it through first? Book a call and we’ll help you decide.

Still have a question? Write to us, we’ll help you decide.

After the experience

The day is complete in itself, and it also travels well. We close with a debrief so the team leaves with language and habits it can use straight away. Some teams return later for a follow-up, others simply carry the day with them. Both are equally right. What changes between people is yours to keep.

One day could change how your team works together.

You don’t have to have the perfect fix. You just have to be willing to try something different.
