No. Everything happens on the ground. The Daimon™ was made for people who have never touched a horse, and for those who are afraid of them.
Yes to all. Daimon™ is made for one, Couples™ for two, Kindred™ for a parent and child, and Family Daimon™ for larger groups. Whether you travel alone, as a pair or with family, we shape the day around you.
Not at all. English is spoken fluently, and most of our guests are international visitors. Italian is available too.
Alterreno is in Peccioli, near Pisa, in the Tuscan hills. It is easy to reach by car, and we send clear directions and the exact address once you book. Ask us and we will help you plan the trip.

Then you are exactly who this is for. You are guided, step by step, and never left alone. The fear is often the doorway.
No. We’re not therapists. Daimon™ is experiential, you work with horses, guided by expert facilitators. Many participants are in therapy and find this complements it beautifully. Some aren’t in therapy at all. Both are welcome.
It might last one hour. It might last three. The duration is never predetermined, because it depends on how the horse responds and how you engage. Each moment unfolds naturally between horse and human. A short video assessment comes first.
Yes. Tears and relief are part of it, a release, not a danger. You move at your own pace, with nothing to prove.
Only to arrive as you are. We handle everything else, from the assessment to choosing your horses to guiding the day. Come in comfortable clothes.
All work is on the ground, no riding required. We adapt to each person, and have worked with people from 10 to 85, with various physical abilities.
12 months from purchase. Plenty of time to fit it into your trip, and freely reschedulable within that period. Just let us know, life happens.
We have covered areas and adapt the program. Weather is part of the experience, some of the most powerful sessions happen in mist or light rain. Only extreme conditions require rescheduling.

Fair question. Daimon™ is a full day with a private assessment, expert facilitators, multiple horses, all materials, a Tuscan lunch and 20+ years of expertise. Set it against a guided wine tour (€150-250, pleasant and quickly forgotten), a fine dinner out (€200+, gone by morning) or a spa afternoon. Many travellers tell us it was the most meaningful day of their entire trip.
