Alterreno offers four horse boarding types of memberships. In the quiet beauty of Tuscany’s hills near Peccioli, at Italy’s top BHS Approved Centre guided by Angelika Schneider, horses don’t just live here, they belong. Entry Level Service
Alterreno Classic™

Our entry-level service offers comprehensive care, beginning with a veterinary and osteopathic assessment for health and behaviour profile. Horses are housed in private, light-filled well-ventilated boxes with direct paddock access. Daily routine includes personalised nutrition plans, grooming care and in-hand work. Morning turnout and evening walks in natural paddocks to support digestion and balance. Monthly updates and quarterly veterinary checks.

The Membership provides access to:
Initial assessment, including veterinary and osteopathic check-up and personalised feeding plan
Spacious, ventilated box with private paddock access
Daily monitoring of physical condition and daily hygiene, mane & tail care, tack cleaning, hoof care, grooming and in-hand work on rest days
Daily morning and evening turnout
Monthly updates and quarterly veterinary checks

ENHANCED LEVEL SERVICE
Alterreno Heritage™

The Alterreno Heritage™ includes all Classic™ services and adds a daily wellness and movement programme, monthly veterinary oversight, weekly riding up to once a day, weekly updated horse profile and assistance with documentation, transport and administration.

Alterreno Custom™

The Custom™ level includes all Classic™ and Heritage™ services, assigns a full-time groom to the horse 7/7, including holidays and includes a daily wellness/movement programme, weekly riding up to two times per day and assistance with documentation, transport and administration. Monthly osteopath and equine dentist sessions along with quarterly behavioural assessments.

Alterreno Old Souls™

This service covers daily care for your horse, from turnout and bringing in to stall cleaning, fresh hay and water, tailored feeding, rug adjustments and routine leg and hoof care. Support is provided seven days a week and includes regular exercise
