True competence emerges from the journey, not the starting point: join Alterreno Academy to develop authentic capability with horses and cultivate true confidence, establishing dialogue that commands respect whilst honouring the horse.
From the first lesson to professional mastery: a journey of skill and awareness. Becoming an equestrian professional means practicing deep listening through expert guidance. At Alterreno, each programme, from weekend clinics to months-long certifications, is created to cultivate technical excellence, emotional intelligence and lasting professional capability in the equestrian world.
Multi-week intensive residential programmes combining natural horsemanship with classical riding, leading to BHS certifications recognised across 26 countries. Foundation™, Roundness™, Artistry™ and Evolution™. Eight weeks living and training in Tuscany with the expert guidance of Angelika Schneider and her colleagues in one of the top ten equestrian centres in Europe.
Alterreno Essentials1, 2, 3: a progressive training path that teaches effective communication and genuine connection with horses, both from the ground and in the saddle. Each level blends personalised instruction with guided independent practice, gradually expanding technical skills and deepening relational understanding through ethical, non-coercive methods. No previous experience is required for Essentials1. All modules are available either in intensive format or with flexible scheduling.
Each session is shaped around your aims, your pace and the connection you build with the horse. The path starts with a personal assessment by Angelika Schneider and develops as you explore technical, emotional and relational skills. Session packs offer room for adaptation, allowing the work to unfold with intensity or with a quieter rhythm, depending on the time you have available.
