Alterreno General Conditions
Horse Boarding
By enrolling in one of the Alterreno packages (Classic™, Heritage™, Custom™, Old Soul™), the owner agrees to the following terms:
- Feeding and Nutritional Management
The Alterreno team retains full and exclusive authority over the development and modification of the horse’s feeding plan, based on veterinary and osteopathic assessments and daily observation. Specific requests from the owner may be considered only if aligned with the horse’s health and welfare and must be approved by the facility manager.
- Medication and Supplement Administration
All administration of medication, supplements and treatments is under the sole responsibility of the Alterreno staff and will be carried out according to prescriptions from qualified veterinary professionals. The owner grants prior consent for staff to administer mandatory treatments without requiring individual approval for each case.
- Veterinary and Extraordinary Interventions
In the event of medical needs or emergencies, Alterreno will manage all scheduling and coordination for veterinary, osteopathic, dental, or other extraordinary treatments. The Advanced Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A.), as specified in the package details, will be used to cover these expenses without requiring prior authorization from the owner, unless the annual allowance is nearly exhausted. In such cases, it must be fully replenished within four working days from the written notification. The owner will be promptly and thoroughly informed of all circumstances and actions taken.
- Communication and Owner Interaction
Alterreno provides regular structured reports on the horse’s health, training and behavior, depending on the selected package. A dedicated communication channel (email or portal) will be available for inquiries or updates, with responses provided within a reasonable timeframe.
- Operational Trust
The Alterreno philosophy is built on trust and professional responsibility. By boarding a horse with us, the owner delegates daily decisions to a competent team whose priority is always the animal’s well-being. Continuous interference, operational micromanagement, or invasive behavior may be grounds for early termination of the service agreement. In this case all deposits are non-refundable.
- Payment Terms
