You are invited to Alterreno’s Open Day on 28 February 2026. This annual day offers a straightforward way to see whether our approach aligns with your aims. The visit includes a guided tour of the facility, time with the team, an opportunity to observe the horses and an introduction to the principles that shape our work.
A CHANCE TO SEE US AT WORK AT ALTERRENO
Short introductory experiences will also be available for those who wish to try the work with horses first hand. A Q&A session will cover programmes, the membership process and our training method. The day is open to anyone considering membership, exploring programme enrolment or simply wanting a clear sense of how Alterreno approaches equestrian education.
The guided tour presents Alterreno’s working facilities. You can see the arenas where instruction takes place and measure their size, footing and equipment. The tour includes the stables, where you meet the horses and understand how their care and wellbeing are prioritised. You also visit the areas that support residential programmes. Throughout the tour you will experience the Tuscan countryside that shapes the learning environment.
Watch a demonstration showcasing Alterreno’s methodology in practice with the horses. You can observe groundwork, riding instruction and the horses’ responses, which illustrate the principles of conscious communication. The contrast between a partnership-based approach and more control-focused conventional methods becomes clear through the work.
