HORSE CARE & TRAINING IN TUSCANY
Where your horse is supported, seen and allowed to grow

At Alterreno, a BHS Approved Centre near Pisa, care and training are one philosophy: treating horses with dignity, understanding and the kind of attention that truly transforms them.

Three paths, one philosophy: horses deserve to be seen, not managed

Tuscan land, ethical horsemanship and lasting care

From the moment they arrive at our Tuscan estate near Peccioli, horses at Alterreno receive genuine attention, tailored nutrition, communication for understanding. Whether boarding, training or starting their foundation journey, every horse is known by temperament, respected in rhythm and cared for as if they were our own.

Training

Not every horse arrives ready to trust. Some carry trauma; others learned that humans mean pressure. Our relational training is for them and for horses seeking deeper partnership. Through natural horsemanship guided by Angelika Schneider, we offer non-coercive work that looks beyond behaviours to their cause. Every path begins with an assessment that sees the whole story and progresses at the horse’s pace.
